I&#8217;m just getting started on my pattern designing, starting with mystery quilts for my local quilting groups.  So far I&#8217;ve done 3 &#8211; one as an in-person one-day workshop, the other 2 as online mysteries with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/755607248207058\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Facebook group<\/a>. My furthest flung mystery quilt thus far has been the 2022 Hancock County Ice Quilting Derby &#8211; Snow Flakes and Ice Crystals.  More than 70 people participated!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we moved back home (for me, anyway) to Maine, I started looking at long arm machines.  Got one shortly thereafter &#8211; my A1, MaCk &#8211; &#8220;Ma&#8221; for my Aunt Marguerite and &#8220;Ck&#8221; for my Uncle Chuck &#8211; two of the most creative people I have had the honor of being related to.  I&#8217;m slowly getting practice on her.  No computerization, just hand guided designs.  I&#8217;ve gotten myself a nice little stash of pantographs to play with as well.  Someday I might just be at a point where I&#8217;m willing to work on other people&#8217;s stuff.  And might even buy the software for computerized quilting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don&#8217;t know me, you&#8217;ll soon find out that I&#8217;m a snarky, punny, cat-loving, Jeep-driving, weirdo.  If you do know me, well, this isn&#8217;t anything new.  I am also a proud mom, loving (if not annoying) wife, and fierce friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, enough about me, let&#8217;s talk about ME!  \ud83d\ude42  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did I forget to mention that I&#8217;m shy and introverted?  Okay, in person (before I get to know you) I am.  In pixels,  however, all bets are OFF!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to know more about me?
